Certified Instructor Program

The Certified Instructor Program is for all 1st Degree and Above Black Belts18 years & older. Certified Instructors must attend a Regional Camp taught by Songahm Masters. There they will be required to demonstrate knowledge of All Color Belt material. They must also show knowledge of Level 3 Class Curriculum standards. In order to attend the Camp, they must have completed a minimum of 300 hours of class assistance as a JTI or Instructor Trainee, Level 1, and Level 2 Trainee Instructor. In the classroom, Certified Instructors may run classes unsupervised in the absence of a Chief or Head Instructor. They have promotional authority to 2 ranks below their current rank with the permission of the Chief or Head Instructor. (3rd Degree can promote to 1st Degree, 4th Degree to 2nd Degree etc.) Certified Instructors will learn test setup, preparation, procedures and General business procedures.

Tournament - Must be a Level 2 Judge as well as have Weapons Chevrons to match your Rank
