Seminars are optional special classes that focus on a single aspect
of training. These seminars can be taught in school, at a regional,
national, or world level event. Most seminars are taught by ATA Masters and
result in the student receiving certification in whatever the course was on.
Typically, the regional level and above "camps" are two days long.
Whenever possible, we hold "in-school" seminars that follow up these larger
camps. This allows our Instructors to break the larger camps down into
smaller segments that are easier for newer students to understand.
Typically, in-school seminars are open to all students of all ranks.
Regional and National level Seminars and Camps are usually open to Black
Belts only. Some are rank specific. The TMA staff will inform you
whenever a seminar has these restrictions.
Some courses are mandatory for testing for higher ranks of Black Belt
